Wichita Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a double homicide in Old Town.
Domingz Josie, 19, and her lover Bryan Hernandez, 21, were tragically discovered shot dead in an Old Town parking garage early Thursday morning.
Wichita Police Department Lt. Chad Remy supplied additional information, adding, “Officers were about a mile away when they heard the shots.” Shortly after hearing the shots and investigating another complaint, one of our calling parties here was cleaning up on the upper level of the parking garage when he came across a sedan and two corpses in the sedan.”
Despite the efforts of Wichita Fire and Sedgwick County EMS, both victims died at the site from their injuries. The street sweeper driver observed the peculiar position of the automobile and proceeded to investigate, uncovering the awful situation.
The police are currently examining a suspect car and intend to acquire more information from the city’s Flock traffic cameras and Old Town security cameras.

The Wichita Police Department has arrested Zachary Ramirez, 19, of Maize, on felony murder (x2) and shooting into an occupied vehicle charge. The arrest is linked to Josephina Lerma-Dominguez and Bryan Lara-Hernandez’s double homicide investigations.
Although the investigation is still in its early stages, WPD Officer Kristopher Gupilan acknowledged that detectives and officers are working hard to follow leads in order to determine who committed the crime.
