Jordan Qualls Shot Dead, William Qualls arrested after killing his son during argument

A suspect is behind bars after police say he shot and killed his son in Shively Saturday afternoon.

According to court documents, police arrested 59-year-old William Qualls in connection with the shooting and charged him with murder.

It all started around 2:30 p.m. when police were called out to the 2500 block of Ralph Avenue.

That’s where investigators say they found a 21-year-old Jordan Qualls who’d been shot inside of a house.

He died at the scene.

According to an arrest citation, Jordan was Willian Qualls’ son.

Police said that when they got there, the suspect was outside the house with his hands up.
