It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you of the passing of Cliff Martin, a retired volunteer firefighter; it is with a lot of sorrow that we are passing on this information to you.
We are conveying this knowledge to you despite the fact that it makes our hearts feel melancholy. Cliff went away suddenly on November 25, 2022, after a courageous fight against a serious illness that he had been enduring.
It had been some time since he had been in good health. He could not recall the last time he had been in peak physical condition.
When Cliff was a volunteer firefighter for Graham Fire & Rescue approximately twenty years ago, the majority of the calls he responded to were dispatched from Station 92.
This was the case for the majority of the years he served. It made no difference how serious the situation was; this was always the case. Graham, which is located in Illinois, was chosen as the location for Graham Fire & Rescue’s headquarters.
His legacy will live on as that of a friend, instructor, and mentor who had a deep-seated enthusiasm for supporting other people in their journeys through life.
He will be remembered by future generations in these capacities. He will live on in our memories.
Cliff was also an active member of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Mountain Detachment as well as the United States Army Reserves.
During both of these periods of time, he distinguished himself by serving his country in an exemplary manner. Because of the close ties that unite us all, the passing of a member of our small community has a significant impact on each and every one of us individually.
We would like for the Martin family to be aware that they are in our thoughts and prayers, and that we will miss the wonderful association that we have had with Cliff.
In addition, we want them to know that the wonderful relationship that we have enjoyed with Cliff will be greatly missed. In addition, we would like for them to be aware that the wonderful relationship that the three of us have shared with Cliff is something that all of us are going to miss.
