The family of 15-year-old Michelle Gisselle Lopez, who went missing near downtown Los Angeles, is seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.
Michelle was last seen on the morning of October 12 when her mother dropped her off at the Edward R. Roybal Learning Center. Security cameras recorded her leaving school at 3 p.m. that day, and there has been no contact from her since.
This behavior is highly unusual for Michelle, as she has not reached out to her family, and her phone is turned off.
A few days before her disappearance, Michelle had a disagreement with her mother regarding a belly button piercing and a boyfriend. However, her family is uncertain about who she might be staying with if she ran away, as her friends have not heard from her, and she is not with her boyfriend or his family.
Michelle is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a visible scar on her forehead. She was last seen wearing dark blue pants, a black jacket, and black tennis shoes.
