Nick Koster Costa Cause of Death, What Happened To Nick Koster

Nick Koster, a former back row forward for Bristol and Bath, passed away at the age of 34.

Koster joined Bristol after a brief stay with Bath and made 62 appearances for them between 2013 and 2017.

Additionally, he played for Western Province and the Stormers in South Africa and led Cambridge University in the 2018 Varsity Match versus Oxford, scoring a try in the process.

The reason behind Koster’s demise is unknown.

The Gallagher Premiership team’s website read: “Bristol Bears is devastated to hear of the tragic passing of hugely-popular former player Nick Koster at the age of 34.”

The 62-time club player from South Africa had a significant effect both on and off the pitch during his five seasons with Bristol.

For his outstanding efforts with the club’s Community Foundation, which included devoting hours of his own time to numerous activities and initiatives with young people in the city, Koster was nominated for community player of the season in 2017.

Gary Gold and Andy Robinson, both former head coaches of Bath, also expressed their gratitude.

I was heartbroken to learn about Nick’s demise. One of the greatest high school rugby players ever as well as a wonderful person and friend,” Gold wrote on Twitter.

He was a lovely human being who greatly influenced the life of Robinson and her family via his kindness, generosity, amazing sense of humour, and rugby prowess.
