Sandra doesn't believe that eating healthy has to be boring. "There are ways to eat healthy meals that are also delicious; you just have to choose foods that are low in calories. I think this way you can have a balanced diet and maintain an ideal weight," she told People.

Echeverría regularly hits the gym, combining cardio exercise with weight training. "When I'm not working, I aim for about an hour and a half of exercise each day. I run on the treadmill, followed either by weight-lifting or a group class," she told People.

Sandra has a method for staying fit when she is away from the gym. "I also download exercise apps on my iPad, so when I'm filming on location, I take advantage of the down time between scenes to exercise. I work on my legs, glutes and arms with short 10 – 15 minutes intervals, which helps a lot. The directors always laugh at me because, while they are filming a scene, I'm working out my calves," she told People.
