Following a fatal collision in a Rock Spring neighborhood early on Friday, Arlington County Police charged a teenager with DUI and involuntary manslaughter, According to Tony Hall, principal of Washington-Liberty High School, senior Braylon Meade perished in the collision.In a letter to the student body, Hall said, “It is with deep sadness that I notify you that a member of the class of 2023, Braylon Meade, passed away Friday morning. “Over the years, Braylon had an impact on the lives of many of our students and staff members and was a cherished part of the Washington-Liberty family. Braylon played football and basketball for our school and was a talented student-athlete. Our collective loss is great.”Officers were called to the intersection of Old Dominion Drive and Williamsburg Boulevard for a two-vehicle incident at around 12:29 in the morning on November 11.Firefighters from Arlington County discovered an unoccupied SUV on fire and another sedan with an unresponsive driver inside.
